New Believers'/Converts' Class

What is a new converts’ class?  – The new converts’ class is based on Andrew Murray's book - An Exciting New Life. 

 

It is designed to provide a setting where new converts can begin to understand what it means to be born again and a be new creature or new man in right standing with God. In the class the teacher combs over scriptures which outline and reinforce the new converts’ position in life and details what they can expect as their journey in God begins.

 

Who can attend? – Anyone who has given their life to God by accepting Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. Classes are held Sunday's at 10:00am

 

Why is someone not considered a member of Spoken Word of God Ministries the moment they give their life to God and become born again, a new convert? – Being a member of Spoken Word of God Ministries or any other church is an important decision a person makes as they are agreeing to submit themselves first to Jesus Christ, the chief shepherd, and then to the Senior Pastor and leadership of Spoken Word of God Ministries, the under shepherd, as it pertains to Jer. 23:3,4. In order to become a member of Spoken Word of God Ministries, the person should understand the vision God has given to SWOG and if that can agree and partner with that vision they would also be required to complete the new members’ class, this is a separate course.
