WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM OUR SERVICES?

 

• ​AN ENCOUNTER WITH GOD:

Everytime you come to Spoken Word of God Ministries, you should expect an encounter with God. This is the reason we go to church, to

enter into His presence and  expect to hear from Him.  So come expecting to receive from God what He has specifically  designed for you.

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him,  for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder

of those who diligently seek Him.

• PRAYER: (Why Do We Pray?)

I Thessalonians 5:17-18 Pray without ceasing. In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Philippians 4:6-7 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made

known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

• PRAISE: (Why Do We Praise?)

​Psalm 150  Praise ye the Lord. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.  Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.  Praise him with the sound of the trumpet:  praise him with the psaltery and harp.Praise him with the timbrel

and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.

• WORSHIP: (Why Do We Worship?)

John 4:23-24  But the hour cometh,  and now is,  when the true worshippers  shall worship  the Father in spirit  and in truth:

for the Father seeketh such to worship him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

• PREACHING OF THE GOSPEL: (Why do we Preach the Gospel, the Good News that Jesus Christ came to save?)

Matthew 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

​Romans 10:15 And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of

peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

• TEACHING OF THE WORD OF TRUTH: (Why Do We Teach?)

Come expecting dynamic teaching  from the word of God  that is designed  to transform your life.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good,

and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

​2 Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

HOW SHOULD I DRESS?

We do not have a set attire, some people dress up and others dress casual. Come dressed modest and comfortable, so that you can enjoy the service.
