THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST

The reason why the Gospel is the "good news" is because it reveals to us that the way we lived before we encountered the gospel was wrong and we don't have to continue to live that way, nor do we have to die that way.

If the gospel of Jesus Christ has not had that affect on your life, you need to check to make sure you are receiving the true gospel, the "good news".

Jesus Christ died for our sins, rose for our justification before God and he did this so that we can have access to God the Father, be redeemed from the curse of the law and be transformed by the renewing of our mind.

The gospel of Jesus Christ is your "exit strategy" from the life you are living now without Him. You no longer have to be who you are, you can now begin the journey to become who God "originally" destined and designed you to be!

God did not place you and I in this world to walk alone. We were never designed to be alone, to be "used", "abused", or "forsaken". It does not matter who we are, we cannot make it alone. So regardless of who we are, what we have done, how much we have amassed, who our friends and family are, or what fame may bring us, we are still alone! We all need help, we all are in need of "salvation" and the gospel is the declaration, the proclamation, the announcement to all in the world that Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life! Through Jesus Christ we are granted direct access to God the Father.

Jesus Christ is God the Father's only Son, that He had brought into the world through Himself by being born through Mary. It is through Him, Jesus Christ, that we no longer have to be alone.

It is Jesus who 30 years after His birth is baptized by the Holy Spirit and over 40 days later declares that the "Spirit of the Lord is upon because He has anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.”

After over three years of preaching the gospel, displaying miracles, signs, and wonders, loving on the unloved, healing the sick, remembering the forgotten, fathering the fatherless, and so much more, that Jesus Christ pays the ultimate sacrifice for us all, and takes our sin on the cross with Him, dies for us and in exchange of our sin He gives us His righteousness that He had with him while He was alive in the earth. Now when the Father sees us, He no longer sees the sin, He sees the Righteousness of His Son.

It is that righteousness which justifies us before the Father and prior to that there was nothing that had a permanent and lasting affect.

Today we longer have to be alone. Today we can have access to the Father, but first we must believe in our heart and confess with our mouth,... "Jesus Christ, I believe you did this for me, the very thing I could not do for myself, you died for my sins and rose to God the Father for my justification. I am saved only by the life you gave for mine. Now I welcome you into my heart and I choose to live for you alone, that I will never again be alone."

Once we have Jesus Christ, then it is the Spirit of God, the Holy Spirit, that will come and live in us, to help us, direct us, instructs us, protect us, console us, keep us and so much more...so we will never again be alone.

Father, for those who have called on the name of Jesus to be saved, I ask that you send your Holy Spirit to live within them right now, today. Touch them in a way that they may know without a shadow of doubt that everything they just did is real. Write their name in the book of life, seal them with your seal, cover them with blood of Jesus Christ and surround them with the protection of your all consuming fire. Bring them through their current situation and to a place safety, a refuge, where they can be taught the truth of your word, send labors, teachers and pastors to them to grow them up in the instruction of the Lord. Make them disciples according to Matthew 28:19, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
